Recently tuned a Bell console piano. The archives indicate that Bell pianos made in Ontario in the early 1900s were quality instruments. This one was made in Quebec and of course not of 1900s vintage. It had been sitting untuned for some years but pitch had not dropped to badly -14c at A440. Key tops are starting to pop off and some keys would rather be manually lifted up after playing than return on thier own. Anyone know when these were built? Are they considered good quality thus worth fixing up. (sorry no serial #), It did not appear to be of poor quality but being new to this work I am no judge. Thanks for any info.
