Spinet shanks, key slips

An I wonder how often techs of this list come in the situation to 
tune/service a spinet. Are they such common in the USA? In my tuner life I 
encountered max. 8 to 10 of these pianos, seeing them as an unlucky mutation 
of the piano evolution.
