Just for general interest, I have found the degree of collegial interaction between piano technicians to be on a par with those of accomplished chefs, especially as regards methods, tools, tips, hints, etc and etc. The difference, though, is the stress level. Want to test your central nervous system's ability to not implode? Go watch a top notch kitchen in action some night - - - it's just incredible.
