>Anyone know what size leather nuts those lifters take? >I've got a customer who asked me to replace a few. 3/8" or 10 mm. There's two per note one on top and one below the wippen extension. You'll probably have to remove the wires to clean the threads on a wire wheel (carefully). My last encounter with one, since the lost motion would have to be adjusted in near impossible quarters (each adjusted as each key is reinstalled), I changed the capstans from square to a salvaged normal set with holes and made a special tool to adjust them which I let attached on the interior of the piano with a note on its usage. The action isn't hard to remove after you've done it a few times. I hate getting good at crap like this... -- Regards, Jon Page -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
