I suggest another tuner that you don't care for. I seen only 1 of these pianos and I made the mistake to try and tune it . Big mistake, next to impossible to mute the high treble. I also couldn't get my tuning hammer on the pins in the last octave. I never work on one again. Anyone know what size leather nuts those lifters take? I've got a customer who asked me to replace a few. Tom Cole Will Wickham wrote: I have, although it's been a while. As I recall, after taking off all the case parts that will come off, the keys have to come out. I think there are hooks on the tops of the lifters that can lift up and turn 90 degrees to allow the keys to be lifted out. The lifters might then be lowered through the key bed or they need to be individually removed from the action. After all of that the key bed can be removed allowing access to the action. Good luck! will wickham Has anyone out there ever successfully taken the action out of a Minipiano? If so, I take my hat off to you 1,000 times.
