When they are like this Samick--with little screws to loosen (and heaven often come out and are kind of a pain to reinsert) and every opportunity to accidently ding the finish in the process--I'd much rather just whip out the clamp and stick it on; takes no time worth mentioning. And, yes, David, it's the fallboard not the lid. I hope, in time, that you will be able to forgive me.
