Correction - truth about piano teachers

Hi Jesse
  I Like you have had a mostly positive experience.   The teacher climate 
varies from place to place.  For the most part the  teachers in my area have been 
very supportive but I  also spent a lot of time courting, cultivating & 
appreciating them.  I  also taught them what the difference between voicing, tuning 
,  regulation & rebuilding. They get it......mostly

I should have said that "some of them" are our enemies, because some  never 
or seldom recommend a tuning, even when badly needed. But truthfully, I  have 
at least a dozen teachers constantly recommending me, and a large  percentage 
of my income over the past 27 years has come because of the piano  teachers.
So they're not all bad.
