Don't forget the very small and pretty overdamped Broadwood  'cottage ' 
pianos circa 1870's with fretted and silk lined top panels   These also remind me 
of the similar sized French Bord pianos which are also  overdamped and which 
can still  have an amazingly attractive singing tone  and excellent damping.
