Hi Tom, Great idea! My shop is cramped, and it's always a challenge to get a grand action from the piano in one room to the bench in the other room without a helping hand.. Will stop by the local thrift store today. They have these things lined up, ready to sell. As I get older it has become more of a struggle to schlep these actions around. This device is very stable and came in handy this week when I had a long journey from one end of a school to my van at the distant end of the parking lot. I have used bungee's to hold the action to the cart, but even without them the action is heavy enough to remain very secure I removed some of the holders from this well constructed cart and added 1" square extruded aluminum rails to support grand piano actions. I adjust the handle as to make the supports horizontal, lay the action in place ,lift up and off I go.
