Tuning sequence question

I believe that the 446 figure is for the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, placing it at the highest pitch of any major orchestra. I do not know about the rest of Vienna, but I suspect no one else is that high in pitch. The Sopranos and Tenors at the Vienna opera house have enough trouble with the high C's at A440 <grin> The VPO has long been known for doing things their way and will continue to do as they wish. I don't think that they would be using Samick pianos in their orchestra hall or anywhere else for that matter..they are very picky. I wouldn't worry about the whole thing too much..
