It has a crack in the plate that goes all the way around the strut next to the lowest A string, about an inch behind (away from the player) the dampers. The strut has not moved either side to side or up and down....yet. Two questions: 1) What are viable repair for this, and; 2) can anyone recommend someone capable of doing them in Southern California?
