A Wurlitzer that continues to go flat after 2 pitch raises is highly 
likely to have a separated pinblock.. No kidding, Wurlies are more 
likely than any other brand.   Does it have that "decorative" plywood 
glued over the top of the pinblock to keep you from diagnosing the 
problem?  Look for splintering along the front edge of the plywood.  The 
only way to know for sure is to remove the plywood.  Plane, chisel, 
scraper.  Dropcloths on the floor and taped over the action (or if you 
prefer, just pick the splinters out of the action after you're done <G>).
