Sorry you've had a tough time (been there, done that) but you will NOT regret joining and, yes, the fee is $150 (one time) then annual dues which will be prorated for the remainder of this year so not so high.

Welcome! Been in the biz long?

Subject: General questions

Hello list,

I am writing this time because I am preparing to become a member of PTG (Austin or San Antonio Chapter - can't make up my mind though San Antonio is closer to me - 5 hours away instead of 6). I started to apply on-line and was surprised to find a $150.00 processing fee. Does anyone know if you apply by phone if the same fee applies? It's Saturday and I wanted to get it done before Monday if I can.

Also, I noticed that the San Francisco chapter has a library that loans pace and other materials for study. I would be interested in that if you can be a member of a texas chapter and still borrow. Or i could borrow from a texas chapter if one has a loaning library? I know it sounds like I'm being cheap but the truth is I have had a rough year - won't go into detail but it involved surgery - and now I'm living month to month and trying to build my business back up. So money is an issue. Please in your responses don't beat me up too bad for asking!

Thanks,

Living in the not so dry these days West Texas and tryin' to love it...........

Steven
