You need to know what the RH range of the pianos environement is. If you don't know, you need to monitor it. If the RH drops below about 35% and/or exceeds 50 or 60% RH, then yes, the piano will benefit from a complete DC system.

BTW, are the pianos turned off the other ten months?

  do pianos in the northeast in camps that are open only two months a year need dmap chasers, although the summer weather is humid? The Steinway I tuned already has a heating bar installed under the soundboard. Does it need a complete system?
