If the strings are off, you can use butcher paper or something like it and cover the bridge and vee bar with it. Sand the top of the bridge with the paper over it so the bridge pins show through, then make an imprint where the vee bar is (the string grooves will help when measuring), remove the paper and you can easily measure the lengths. One question: Measuring for the strings going under the capo seems to be a problem. Are there any tricks to getting accurate and consistent measurements when the termination is on the underside of the plate?
