Fairer Taxation

How about getting rid of the income tax altogether? It wasn't in use
until 1913. Somehow we managed to get by without it before then. And
wouldn't it be great if we as businessmen could focus on doing what we
do without being forced to deal with deductions and regulations?

And I've read somewhere that taxation IS NOT NECESSARY for government
function.
At present, personal income taxes amount to only (sic) $784 billion of
the total 2+ trillion dollar federal budget.

Taxation is really for the purpose of controlling behavior. Spending
habits, etc.

It's the 16th Amendment. We the people voted for it, and if enough
raise their voices, we the people can repeal it. Count me in, and
sign me up, baby!
