I guess I should have been more specific. I was wondering about any particular plate anomalies or weaknesses, mortising issues the might create problems with teardown, things like that. It's a project I'm debating about getting involved in because of the age and limitations of the instrument. I don't see many of these of this age. You know the basic principals, and can evaluate the specifics from what you see in the piano, so you're already beyond what anyone could tell you from a less technically detailed personal impression.
