Hi Cy, Found mine on the inside of the rim holding from the inside. Holes were striped and cushioned with felt to cut down on noise. Treated with CA before putting back together. Are the heads accessible from inside the action cavity, going upwards, or are the heads on top, near the tuning pins? --Cy-- ----- Original Message ----- From: Glenn Vallespir To: 'Pianotech List' Sent: Sunday, November 25, 2007 1:36 PM Subject: RE: Heintzman 186 Conservatory Grand Problem Roger, I'm thinking this may be the solution I may end up using if the action does not settle like I hope. I had a feeling that the stretcher wasn't going to come out, it really felt solid. I just wish that I could explain what the actual cause of the problem is. I like to address the disease, rarher than the symptom. Thanks for the information. Glenn Vallespir -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
