Thanks, I tried that but only picked up 1 or 2 mm. I haven't tried playing
with any adjustments to see if I can actually make it work with the spread
as far as the slots will allow.

I would hazard a guess that the action spread is too close.
Move the wippen rail back to position the heels over the capstans.
Look for the original impressions on the cushions.
