Is the pedal adjusted properly? If it is too "tight" the pedal spring will prevent the dampers from fully engaging.

Subject: Dampers

I have a spinet with dampers that don't completely dampen as they should. The situation with them is that they are all the same. From the bass to where they stop in the treble. I can actually see them bounce in the bass section. They make a higher pitched sizzling sound in the tenor and treble area. Is there a way to adjust this completely? Do they each need individual attention?

Thank you for your assistance,
Mark
