The Royal Yacht Britannia also had a Broadwood upright supplied to mark the
Jubilee in 1977.  It was for sale recently but the owner wanted more than I
thought it was worth.  As Broadwood held the Royal Warrant,for 200 years or
so, and Britannia was used to represent Gt Britain around the world, it may
just be a Broadwood Grand.

That's it! The yacht has been moored here permanently in Edinburgh docks
since '99 as a floating museum. 

 



 

I can't remember what make it is since I was last on board in '99. I was
more intrigued at that time with the engine room and not the piano. It looks
suspiciously like a Bluthner to me.

The Queen's Yacht Britannia.  Bolted to the floor in case of heavy seas.
Google is great. But what is the manufacturer ?
