I see.  Well I hear that intense heat such as is achieved by a liberal
dowsing with lighter fluid followed by a struck match does wonders to ease
tight centers-and anything else that ails the poor beast.

this is a piano of some sort. No, no, no. Terribly sorry, this is a little
crap 70s (or so) console crap piano impersonator. I don't mean to disturb

  & what kind & vintage piano is this?  If it's a late 70's Yamaha they had
plated pins that the Plating wore off & clogged the bushings. & nothing but
reaming with a roughened reamer & then pinning or new parts will cure this.
