  I felt the same way. I couldn't find anything that looked suspect.  And I would think a plate separating from the back would be a global flatness, or at least one entire register.  These are individual pins that are losing pitch.

              Tom, I can't imagine pins "slipping" when they're as tight as you describe.  I'd start looking for other reasons for the pitch drop.  String problems like the lower end unwinding, bridge problems, hitch pins bending, plate separating from the back, anything that might explain the pitch change.  I think you'll get lots of comments on this one!
