Upright loss of repetition

Hi All,

I've just recently reshaped hammers on a Kawai Console.  Repetition seems to 
have suffered some because of this.  I guess my first thought is that the 
change of hammer weight is in some way responsible, but I wonder, in what 
way?  My first thought is to put mini-binder clips on a section and see if 
that gives positive results.  Any other thoughts on the matter?
