Well, of course, but there are in other locales individuals with some
"limited knowledge" but which is of such a quantity beyond mine, it leaves
me unwilling even to open my mouth......

He's the local "Jack Wyatt" of piano knowledge.  Is there a single magazine
one could subscribe to which would cover most of the basic piano stuff?
Store owners certainly don't have time to sit down with individuals and fill
them in, and then there is also the "bias factor" to consider there.
Everyone has a bias- that I know.  But objective data about where this
crazy-paced business is going and who's doing what would surely be
helpful.....

Feel free to respond privately and not take up a lot of bandwidth on this.
