I would appreciate some input on putting a value on a customer's Baldwin M. Made in 1990, excellent condition, walnut veneer. The elderly owner is moving into assisted living (and now severely arthritic), and the family is looking to sell. I'm looking for a realistic number to give them to sell it via craigslist or other local advertising options. For that matter, what would a realistic wholesale price be? I don't buy & sell pianos myself (personal preference & to keep my thoughts pure when assigning a value while appraising). Baldwin's recent decades' ups & downs, bankruptcy, etc. makes me think the Baldwin name plate doesn't mean a lot in today's market. On the other hand, I want to help out my valued customer as she fades into the sunset ... Thanks, Patrick Draine Billerica MA PS Yes I already did some online research on pianomart and craigslist -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
