Is there an easy way/trick to get at the capstans to regulate the hammer 

line? There is no direct line of sight to the capstans when key is at 

rest and barely visible when key is depressed. >>

On these pianos, I usually remove the let-off rail to set the balancier 
height, jack position,  and rough set the capstans.  It is quicker and easier than 
fighting all 88 jacks into adjustment.
