Hi David,

Congrats on the new website!

Say, I just heard that REDCAT is going to go ahead and have their D rebuilt.  Do you know anything about what they will be renting in the meantime?  I haven't heard a peep from them about it since Richard and I were down there to evaluate it (which was quite a while ago).  I don't know whether or not you have been in their loop on this.  If not, could this be an opportunity to present Steingreaber to the uninitiated?

All the best with your hand surgery,

Alan Eder

My friends---

After an eternity---seems like---my vastly redesigned website is UP, baby......

www.davidandersenpianos.com

Turn your speakers up, because the song player is excellent; my website builder did an amazing job of balancing file size and load time.

Scroll down the song player and see all the selections, all of which were recorded using one of our pianos.

You'll find it a LOT easier to navigate through than the old site, I hope. And we have a whole new Steingraeber "wing" as well.

Some comments from my trusted "beta testers:"

"Dude, it's great. I use it like a radio in my shop---" David Stanwood

"Yes sir..very nice. You, sir, are an inspiration. 'Daughters' (the first song on the sit
e's song player) made me cry---" Phil Bondi

"This is awesome. It looks like it cost 3 million dollars."  Dale Erwin

"Did a quick look at the website.  Mahhhhhvelous, dahlin'.

It would be even better if there were a link to my website, ya b@#$$#*&  s$#@*&!" J  Michael Spreeman

"'Daughters' continues to haunt me - inspire me - send me back to hear it again and again.

The sound of that piano has me curious: is that [a] Steingraeber? How was it miked?"     Phil Bondi

Great questions, Phil. Those, and other good questions, inspired me to work on a new section: "About the Song Player," which will  give the tech specs for each tune: the piano, the player, the recording setup. Keep checking back.

Anyway, please enjoy the fruits of a team effort. Olaf Sjenna, from Toronto, is the man. What a great site builder, and a fine, creative, honest, reasonable human being...          www.vigilantestudios.com

Keep tuning; keep being tuned; keep living the fountain of joy that is music.

P.S. my second corrective hand surgery---the first went fabulously well---will be next week on the 20th. Wish me luck. It's gonna be TEN WEEKS without a tool in my hand, boys and girls.....I'm happy I have a few shekels tucked away for something like this...imagine what not working in the field for 2 1/2 months would do to your cash flow.....ooooohhh...
