Hammer trimming jig

"Anything is dangerous in the wrong hands." Now you make my point for me,
Jon. You've cast your photo and recommendation out into the ether to
potentially be used unseen and unknown by craftsmen and fools alike, and
those who fall between.

There has been a fair amount of discussion on this topic at this point, and
I think it is fair to note that you are not getting a lot of support for the
use of this jig. While I definitely count myself amongst those who have
done stupid things with dangerous power tools and have lived to tell about
it (so far), I would also note that some of our more respected craftsmen on
this list are pulling their hands back in horror at the sight of your tool.
Because of their reputations, their sense of caution deserves to be noted.

Respectfully,

Will Truitt

Actually not that close. Posed for photo.

Fingers well away and safe.

My Motto: Safety First

Anything is dangerous in the wrong hands.
