The fracture is not extensive enough to shove the tip of the bottle in there.  In everyone's experience will Titebond work in a hypo oiler?

I don't know what edge banding is, but in a pinch I've used my business card for added strength. But if you have veneer, it's better.

I have found a woodcraft store in my area that I will be getting some veneer.  I will select the maple, but I got to thinking, would edge banding be a good choice for bracing the fracture?  Does anyone know if edge banding and veneer are the same thickness?

Thanks!
