Will, Several good responses this time around, which I will not duplicate. However, no-one talked about setting spring tension. Here's a link to the Renner USA backaction instructions, which were developed/written by Chris and Karen Robinson: http://www.rennerusa.com/Tech6.asp which include recommendations in grams for each underlever. This is the total resistance to lift, i.e. the sum of leads and spring. A photo is included showing how to measure with a gram scale. The spring force increases as the levers are lifted, so be sure to measure them at the same point in their lift.
