It could be other things, especially if it does not show the exact symptoms, decreased letoff being the most obvious. If it's just general regulation, it could be Unstable keyframe, unstable environment, warping keys and hammer shanks, etc. Lots of possibilities. After this many years, bad action brackets should show the problem as well. The smooth sides of the defective brackets should look a little lumpy after 20 years. First suspicion was when she told me that it had been regulated twice in 7 yrs . I got the model and serial number, which indicated it was built in 1989. I've spoken with Young Chang, and according to the fellow I spoke with, it didn't fall into those yrs in which the bad parts were used. I've seen enough YoungChang/Weber/Wurlitzer pianos through the years to know the problem when I see it. The customer is willing to pay for another set of brackets, as she bought it second-hand and wouldn't be covered by warranty anyway. What else could it be, but the brackets? Gary
