I've carried this in my tool case for thirty years. The #7 
wood screw with the top cut off is just about right for most 
hitch pins, and is easy enough to turn too far and pull it 
back to open the loop further. The other end has the screw for 
winding the coil, with a pair of pliers holding the loop.?
