https://www.moypiano.com/ptg/pianotech.php/attachments/20080214/4255abeb/attachment-0005.jpe Hi Dale.... from the picture you supplied (link just above) this looks like the grain angle is anything but perpendicular to the wide face.... looks more like half quartersawn at best from what I am seeing. Please compare to the pic below.... One other question... looks like you are lining up each plank so that the angle of the grain... which looks to be roughly 30 degrees or so off the flat face.... are going in opposite directions... any specific reason for doing this ?
