The GA-1: no, I don't think you're being too harsh (Alan Barnard). This model is absolutely amazing. I have tuned a GA-1 six times since March of 2006, each time being stunned by the out-of-tuneness. The hockey-stick section easily swings 80 cents, i.e. +40 to -40 with the RH cycle. I wonder how many were made. I would think that Yamaha would recall them or offer full-price trades.
