casino tunings

Richard,
With the pianos I service which are near the casino floor, I work when there is the greatest amount of guest noise in the daytime. The casino will never change the overhead music being piped in as it is supposed to promote gambling. It's the slot machines that drive me nuts always announcing their musical thirds or shouting "wheel of fortune". The crowd noise helps me tune out the slot floor so I can zero in on my work and I employ the EDT in these situations. I do the best I can and never get complaints. The worst account I have is a DC6 in a glass and marble hotel lobby with a giant water display splashing away. Pure torture. Maybe I'll give the headphones a try

Just got an email forwarded to me from tech. services at the casino saying the piano was great after tuning with the headphones. I'm going to see if there is a way to plug into the helpenstil pickup directly for better quality sound.

Where are you Vegas or AC? I would tune it at 7:00 or 8:00am, not too much action then.
