Just got an email forwarded to me from tech. services at the casino saying the piano was great after tuning with the headphones. I'm going to see if there is a way to plug into the helpenstil pickup directly for better quality sound.

Where are you Vegas or AC? I would tune it at 7:00 or 8:00am, not too much action then.

      Hi folks,
One of my casino accounts just put a Yamaha gc-1 in a lounge just off the casino floor this week.
It's right next to a bank of slots that is creating a c-6 ding ding ding ding non stop.

I've dealt with this stuff for years , but this is an impossible situation. So impossible ,that I went out and got some noise canceling headphones (Radio Shack) with a little battery operated pickup . Worked fairly well , but has a bit of a learning curve as to where to place the pickup. It still picks up the slots to some extent, and makes the piano sound kind of like a cp-80, but at least I can hear more than I was before.

      Cost about $110 but it's a $20k a yr contract.
