Tilting piano

Barbara, You will need to remove the dollies and you don't want to put it on anything before you tilt it. I once had a piano on 2X4's before I tilted it. the two little catcher arms slid off the bottom and the piano fell on its back. Luckily no one got hurt. Keep the piano on the floor with nothing under it.

  Hi,

I need to do a little bit of bridge repair on this piano and want to tilt it. I've never tilted an instrument with this type of dolly. Do I prop the piano up on some 4x4s (or whatever) first and then tilt?

  Thanks,
