Aside from the straining from lifting and supporting each leg there is a small gadget which will help in the process, two actually. They are simply wedges which fit under the front legs/truck arms. I label them 'truck stops'. Cut from pin block scrap. These support the front arms so they will not lower thus lifting the rear arm. Particularly useful when moving a piano which is on a truck. As each front leg is lowered onto the arm, a wedge is placed underneath making for a more stable footing. -- Regards, Jon Page
