A big problem with the corded VSR (if that is what you are using) that I've used is you don't have instant stop when you release the trigger. The good cordless drill gives you instant stop. I can see what you are saying with the infinite resets. I'll have to try it. You can get the sockets with big screwdriver bits at Sears also. Using a continuous torque drill motor, any bit I used tended to walk out of the slot, since I couldn't maintain alignment of the bit with the screw perfectly. The impact allows a whole lot of "reseats" per minute between impacts so the bit doesn't walk out. I love freebies. Ron N
