That was exactly my thought... but I guess it's primarily to show that (a) you CAN and (b) you understand the issues of tuning A4 directly to the fork. Then too, ya' never know when a new RPT is going to be called on to tune for a concert of some sort or other... even if it's "just" a High School Orchestra or something. I've recently started floating pitch. If the whole piano is "close" (10c - 20c) I'll split the difference... e.g. 16c flat, I bring it up to 8c flat.
