letoff, blocking hammers on an everett upright, ca 1974

Do you have enough after-touch?  After-touch is lessened with  a closer 
let-off.  The result of insufficient after-touch,  can give the "feel" 
of blocking....with the hammer bouncing off the jack tops, at the end 
of the key travel.

Another possibality....Be sure the 'blocking feeling' is not the result 
of  back-checking too close to the wire.
