Yes, it does photograph nicely. It's just so...<gak> purple. 
<G> I know what you mean about splicing in rather than just 
making new key ends. I never had good sense about that sort of 
thing either, and would likely have done the same. If you're 
going to do it, it had just as well be interesting, right?
