Pierce Piano Atlas

Hi Matthew and Luc,

I spoke with Larry Ashley earlier this year about the very question you posed and he told me they are currently working on a new edition which he hopes to have published around the end of year.  Mr. Ashley told me they are planning on expanding to include much more background information on the pianos including history and possible defects with the various models as he said more folks like myself want to know background information on the pianos they are working on...especially myself with older pianos. The Pierce Piano Atlas is a great tool for approximating piano ages and is useful for informing customers.  I am  currently working on a Vose Upright for our Church Hall which is 108 years old...made in 1895...and is getting an overhaul at this time over the summer. Our Pastor was amazed when I told him how old their piano was...

So...hang tight and with a little luck we'll have some new reference material in the not too distant future.

Well, I thought maybe it could take someone 30 seconds to let me know.  I used to know, but have forgotten.  Anyone remember?

Can someone tell me how many years the atlas is printed, and based on that, when the 12th edition is planning to be published?

Thank you,
Matthew
