Subject: [pianotech] New RPT

Hello,
As a new RPT I thought I'd climb out from under the rock and say hi to
everyone. There is something different about having passed all the
tests and doing everyday piano work from an RPT perspective. The
difference is, having put myself through the intensity of the testing
process, I feel the foundation of my knowledge as more solid and
bullet-proof than before. I don't think that confidence could have
been achieved any other way, and I feel I have more to give to the
field. I have my Snake River Chapter RPTs to thank for helping me
build the foundation over the years... Jim Osborn's steady dedication,
driving 2 1/2 hours to every meeting and sticking to the basics, Bunny
Arnett's personal mentorship, helping me get beyond many tough spots
in my business, and Joe Goss's coaching, challenging my mind to see
problems from different perspectives, resulting in more wholistic and
strategic solutions. He held out the rope to help me climb over the
top. Then, I had the opportunity to polish my skills with James
Coleman, Sr., who made the test another level of learning. What a
dedicated bunch RPTs are, to care about an individual's struggles in a
field that most people know nothing about! I'm looking forward to
passing it on.
Jeannie Dalton, RPT
