[pianotech] Hammer gluing

Hi all:

If you have to do an emergency gluing of a hammer on a shank, what would your
choice of glue be, and what kind of time frame would you wait before assembly of
action?
I know this is not an ideal situation, but perhaps necessary from time to time.
I'm curious of the glue possibilities.
Looking forward to any comments on the subject.
