"William Rolfe" caught my eye, as yes, he was an important early builder, and yes, the piano is likely ca. 1805. There is definitely a small but determined select market for these types of instruments. She needs to get the photos somehow, and I would be very happy to look at them. Where is it located? I wouldn't get her excited about high value, as they frequently have serious structural issues which have to be corrected, not to mention missing parts, such as hammers, dampers, and complete pedal systems. They have increased in value significantly in the last 3 years, but unrestored, they still aren't fetching very much, since the work requires skill and great patience (hmm...sounds like my articles....).
