[pianotech] tack attack

Tom,

I recently removed the tacks from an old Steinway K that a student had
installed. The tacks were installed just south of the strike point,
avoiding the strike point directly. When the tacks were removed, the
hammers still sounded OK. Also, there was no problem running into the V
bar. Ordinary silver tone tacks were used. Good luck.
