Michael,
I rebuilt the same piano, s/n less than 100 difference, it had problems with action clearance at the pin block as in pin block too low. Just wondered if yours has similar issues.

I am working on this piano for my 6 years old son. Thank you Jon for a scale, it is a match with my measurements. Someone replaced a number of strings in the past, so I think it would be easier to ask and do it right.
Just a little bit about me: I am RPT from Pittsburgh, PA. I have 17 years experience in the US, originally from Moscow, Russia. I learned how to tune pianos in 1974 at the piano factory in Moscow. After that, I worked for a piano repair/rebuilding government controlled shop. After I joined PTG I really learned a lot. I learn a lot from all the discussions on teh list, so thank you for sharing your experience. The piano I have is SS#118833 Open grain quoter saw oak cabinet, 5’10”. There is a miniature word on the plate. Any comments about this piano?

        Thanks,
        Michael Mezhinsky
