Hello Julia,

If this piano has a down-striking action it is
almost surly a " Sp. 64 ". designed by Pratt-
Read and built for them by Lester.

It has 64 keys and a working sustain pedal.
Its factory designation was model " K ".
It is 22 1/2 in. deep and 38 !/2 long

It was advertised in the 1947 Piano Technicians
Journal as a " Practice " Piano.

The plate is of Magnesium and weighs only
22 lbs. Such a piano is displayed in The
Foundation Museum among many others.

The Museum is open each business day and
is free to all PTG. members. We ask that you
register in the visitors book each time you visit.

Regards
Jack Wyatt
